Instructions for Applying

You will need to complete the online application form. Please be prepared to provide the information below. We will not consider your application without this information.

• Information about yourself and why you would like to work at Colorado Trails Ranch

• A recent photo of yourself – in lieu of a video conference call or in person interview.

• Those applying for a horse related position (wranglers and counselors) must submit a short video demonstrating your riding skills. We ask the video to show you catching a horse, grooming, bridling and saddling. Then mount the horse and ride a short distance at a walk, jog, lope and then stop. Finally, dismount and untack the horse.

• Work references and their contact information (including email) from your last three employers.

• Three personal references and their contact information (including email).

• Letters of reference (optional).

Staff Driving Requirements

We rely on many of our staff members to transport guests to various activities, the airport, and town. These individuals must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record. Please do not apply for maintenance, wrangler, counselor, or fishing guide positions unless you have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
